Dungeon Explorer has 7 dungeon (I initially thought 9) I haven't unlocked them all. I recently unlocked Mars. Whenever I finish a mission and I got restock on supplies (because I'll get killed if I don't carry enough recovery items) I end up broke all over again. D: Adventurers don't get paid enough, I'm complaining to the guild! ...I'm taking this matter to the izark king... maybe even the olff chief, he's my pal, he'll do something... XD I'm on level 41. S class fighter. ^^

As a random rumor, I heard they're making a Prince of Persia movie. It's the classic I never finished, not a single version. I kept running out of time and getting lost in the SNES game. In Dungeon Explorer I watched the Ist and Olff intros and it helped me understand the story a bit better, but it's still a super simple plot. I think there are 9 dungeons, not sure, with 8 levels each, could be different. I have 3 unlocked since there's a lot of revisiting. 2 of them are on level 7 and I don't remember how far the other is unlocked, 5 I think.
I'm a lot further in Tactics Ogre Knight of Lodis. I don't know when, but I should finish it soon since the plot is coming together and all the questions are being answered. |

I watched all 49 episodes of Get Backers in a week and I want more but there is no more! D: I want more Ban and Ginji! Akabane too. They hardly said anything about that guy that looks like Tamaki and I'm curious. I guess I'll go read fics.
I looked at other anime series but I haven't found anything that captures my attention. I've become so picky with what I watch and dubs are so comfortable to watch I'm not even considering subs lately. The Saikano ova was only available subbed, I might still watch it later, but for now I'll procrastinate.
The thing about writing odd Get Backers reader insert fanfics late at night is that the possibility to dream about them increases. Still, of all the RIs I have written, I'm not sure why my subconscious decided to throw this one at me. Thus I ended up meeting a scalpel wielding miniature clone of myself who kept telling me she wanted pizza. To which I replied with something along the lines of "call Kuro-chan and tell him to bring some from the Honky Tonk after he finishes his mission." Albeit it would make no sense for Kurodo's powers to be inherited, hence why the near death experience of a certain babysitter eel was ultimately cut off the story. When I woke up I wanted pizza, but sadly, there is none in the house. :(
Random: Did you know that for the longest time I thought Pizza Hut was called Pizza Hot.
It's the last of November! :o I need to finish my Christmas layouts and put them up. Not on all my sites though, that would be too much work and I'm lazy. ^^;;

Get Backers (anime)
Random: If you happen to have long light blond hair and plan to sneak into a top security facility, dressing in all black to blend in with the night isn't enough, you have to hide your hair too!
Why do they get beat up to an inch of death, only to become twice as strong by the next fight and apparently it was a secret power they had all along? Why didn't you use it before? lol XD
That guy from the last arc of the Get Backers anime, the guide of the Limitless Fortress reminds me of Shadii with the entire "I've been here watching since forever" and being all sneaky and mysterious and rambling about destiny. XD
Dude where did all the over-mushy romance-friendship come from? It's like suddently, everyone has a crush on everyone. O.o;; Just do a group hug and get it over with so you can go back tom pounding each other.
lol, every time they complain about their opponents not fighting seriously they're all like "blah, blah, blah, serious." they say it so much I can't help it but to think of the joker and not take them seriously. XD
The second trip to the Limitless Fortress feels short in comparison to the first. I thought the second would be the longest but before I knew it, it was over.
Now for the dilemma... Who's the best bishounen Ban or Ginji? I like them both. XD Ironically I'm too caught up fangirling those two I didn't pay much attention to Makubex. O.o;; Get Backers was 49 episodes long, it's been a while since I watched a series that long. I get impatient and stick to series with less than 30 episodes.
This was the dub so it was so much easier to watch, I may never watch subs again. It's great being able to play games and watch anime without missing anything. I have the games on the comp so I just divide the screen and look at all of it. I don't have to read subs so I don't need to focus on that.
It didn't take me long to watch the entire series like this and it made the level grinding I've been doing in Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis a lot easier.
Dungeon Explorer (game)
I'm getting to the level grinding point. Not that much yet but I've had to go looking for jewels to unlock the dungeon or to gather ingredients for item alchemy (cheaper than the shops and I'm short on gald) and weapon/armor tempering. They really need more minor missions, the gald I get from the minor missions isn't enough and then I need to prepare for the big mission and make gald the slow way instead of going on minor missions and getting rewards. Monster hunting doesn't help much with gald (aka gold) but you can sell the materials you get in the dungeons. No new plot developments have happened, for all the time I've been playing, very little has happened. I have one more mission before I can go on the next plot mission.
Saikano (anime)
Watched all of the first series, 13 episodes, first 10 minutes were amusing, pretty boring and random after that, mostly too overly dramatic. I might watch the ova anyway because it's short.
Naruto (manga)
Flying pencils and Storm Troopers? O.o;;

Gaia
Lanzer's apology took me by surprise. Gaia is totally commercial now so the entire pixelated tobacco removal came as no surprise. I don't really care since I didn't have any of the items that were removed anyway. The part that surprises me is that if Gaia was impacted enough for Lanzer to hear and act, how come I didn't know? Lol, I'm so behind on Gaia news, my interest did drop when the same got bigger but I still go in nearly every day for the item kart and Snow's thread. So um... what exactly happened? When was the uproar, does anyone know the specifics of the drama?

Kingdom Hearts
Watching Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days videos. The zombie thing reminds me of mako!Cloud XD Yay for Axel! :D I wish this had been for the PSP. Axel won't be in Birth by Sleep. :( I just realized that I've been saying Xion's name wrong. Roxas says it was She-on and I've been switching between See-on and Sigh-on.
Dungeon Explorer
So Gazna is totally the swinging a sword around recklessly type, it just fits him. True that the first class he's in (fighter, which is like the classic warrior job class) fits him best, I still like his new class better (hunter aka archer). He doesn't looks like he would be too patient taking aim and such. Besides, he does better in close range combat. Even so shorts and goggles beat armor any day. XD I've been trying to complete more quests and unlock more missions with Gazna. ^_^
Since I couldn't find any pictures of him online (don't know why I can't seem to find them...) I took some pictures of Gazna on Reno. It's blurry, pictures taken from a screen usually are. He makes poses when he's all like "I'm going to be a legend!" XD
His goggle style and haircut make him look kind of like Cid, but in terms of personality he reminds me more of Reno. I guess he's like a combo between Reno, Cid and Naruto, because he has to constantly remind you that he will one day become a legendary adventurer and he's really energetic about it.

Dungeon Explorer
Gazna from Dungeon Explorer is amusing, he reminds me of Reno. XD He shows up in the quests now and then, requesting someone to tag along with him to train in the dungeon. At first he's wearing armor, the classic warrior look. You can pick your race and job, plus the change the color of the clothes and armor for your character. Definitely nowhere near as much customization as in Phantasy Star Portable, but still fun. Mikari is a warrior type since those are the easiest to control, they're strong so you can rush in, hack and slash and you're done. She has blue armor and it makes her look like a girl version of Megaman.
So there I am, in my Megaman armor, waiting for Gazna to show up looking like someone who's ready to venture into a monster infested dungeon maze. Instead, he shows up in shorts, looking like he's going out to play basketball or something. O.o;; Then he goes on about changing his job class and getting closer to becoming a legend. He reminds me of Naruto in that sense with his "I'm gonna be a legend!" being similar to Naruto's "I'm gonna be hokage!" The most fun part? (other than the shorts) goggles! Gazna looks even more like Reno now, though his hair is still shorter, it's red and he has goggles! :D It's like, you beat that big monster so here's your price, items, gold and... fanservice!
I think the plot might be slightly different in the beginning if you pick a different race but overall it'll most likely evolve into the same basic plot. There's a lot of revisiting the same dungeon, going into deeper levels and doing quests, but it's still fun.
Anime
I was looking for some new anime to watch and started Soul Eater. I like the scythe battle choreography and the overall concept but it also felt kind of slow and it's 51 episodes long, which is hard to get into unless it's really interesting. I have grown more impatient with anime. Random: the reaper's number is 42-42-564
I also tried watching Argento Soma. The main guy is in this accident which leave him "deformed" but I think he looks way better. He wasn't what I would call an anime bishounen at first, he had IMO a below average design. Then after the accident he's all cool. :o

The annoying part is that he spends most of his time whining about his dead girlfriend who didn't look like she liked him all that much anyway. Overall it felt kind of slow even if it was just 25 episodes so I watched the ending and left it at that. I am reminded of Evengelion and Iron Giant.

Played Sword of Mana (GBA). I beat it in around 13 hours, pretty short. It's an Action RPG I was at level 50. I played as the girl but the boy was usually either with her or going to places before or after her so the game really isn't different aside from the introduction. I'm reminded me of someone... What's up with Square and their silver haired mother obsessed villains? XD lol
In Dungeon Explorer (PSP) the king has Sailor Moon's tiara! XD XD XD I hope that cute redhead adventurer shows up again...
I'm also playing Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis (GBA). It's a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. |

Fanfiction net, you fail! Why is it that in the character list even "koopa troopa" is listed but the koopalings are listed simply as "koopalings"?! What if I wish to find a story about a specific koopaling? How is it possible that all of the original 7 have to share a spot on the list if even a koopa troopa gets it's own place? sometimes I don't know what's wrong with the world...
I'm pretty close to beating Tales of the World. I just need to gather good items and maybe train the other characters a bit. Kratos wouldn't come with me but I had Reid, Tear and Leon. Tear and I ended up healing a lot and I hardly fought but I came really close. I'll try to level Tear so I can leave more of the healing to her and assuming Reid and Leon will agree to come with me again, I'll drag them on quests the train them. I found the warrior radiant weapon but not the armor yet. I'll see if I can get that too.

Later... I beat Widdershin! I collected all the armor took the high level generics with me and beat him. ^_^ I only developed the warrior class so I was on level 52. he credits are playing on Reno as I type this! Tear's Sephiroth tree comment made me laugh. Poor Sephy has turned into a total joke. XD I'll be playing Astonishia Story next. |
